Oh it does when fried over a campfire. Yum!
It is absurd to talk of one animal being higher than another. We consider those, when the cerebral structure/intellectual faculties most developed, as highest. A bee doubtless would when the instincts were.

It looks like it's desperately time for a change, so I'm thinking Artemis since our local IFA store carries it.

I feed my dogs Nature's Variety. It's a rotating diet of grain free kibble, wet (very tiny amounts) and raw. I have 4 different kinds of kibble, 4 different kinds of raw, and 6 different kinds of wet, 2 flavors of each. My beagle is super uber sensitive when it comes to food. I can't feed her too much of one thing or she develops allergies in the worst way. I pay a lot for the food, but I go to Petfood Express and do the buy three get one free deal (hence the 4 or the 12). Food is specifically formulated to be a rotational diet, so unless she's gotten into something (which does happen frequently because of that damn hound nose) she never has potty problems. Right now Lady has beef, chicken, salmon and duck kibble, along with rabbit, chicken, beef and lamb raw food (about 1 inch medallions) and there are 2 cans of beef, chicken, lamb, duck, rabbit and venison food up in her little cupboard. Again, it's a lot of money, because I buy it all at once and it lasts about 9 months, but, it sure beats the hell out of vet bills. If you have bad allergy problems, and the pup gets bored of food easily, this might be something to look into. =)
