oh wow that is very clever! Too bad my closet isn't covered :/ The only place I know I can fully hide him is under my bed Because I can put a cover over him. But I had talked to my R.A.'s and they said if they don't see it then they can't do anything about it. I'll probably get a stand and just cover the tank over with a sheet and books. That's the most discrete I can get about with it.

The weird thing is is that he rarely gets bored. He only window surfs a couple times but other than that he seems to like the smaller tank. But I know I have to put him in a bigger tank soon though.

Stupid college kids think they can get away with anything. I tried to get away with a kitten in my dorm room. Someone told on me.
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

Yes, I know, but it's hard to see it that way when it involves kitten.
I'm guilty of exceeding my pet limitations almost every where I've lived, but, the management always knew. They know we would rescue and foster, and our apartment is never trashed, rent is on time, etc.
If you can't go by it honestly, it's probably not going to be worth it. See if you can work something out. Chewy isn't going to enjoy being covered by a sheet, especially if it's a light color. College is stressful enough as is.

100% agree. But I'll only have to cover him when we have inspection which is once a semester. So he will be fully uncovered every other day :) Their rule is "If we don't see it then it's okay" so they'll just walk in, look and leave. I won't do Chewy wrong. I want to keep him as long as I can and take care of him to the best of my ability :)

Well, if you have already talked to them about it, then sounds like you're good to go!
