After 60 lbs or Arogonite sand and 20 lbs of live sand ( I know but it was cheaper to buy it ,than drive 20 miles to get another 30 lb bag) and 6 lbs of kent marine biosediment for my sump

I hope you cleaned that substrate like crazy! Aragonite can be a biznatch to clean. If you don't clean it very well it will make your tank foggy for a week or so.

I've been rinsing my sand everyday several times, all together I'm not sure how many times. Every time I think it's good to go, it still fills cloudy. I'm thinking that it just doesn't ever really rinse absolutely clear.

Did you order from marco rocks? Those look like the rocks I got from them.

nice stand build! i thought i was sweet for building my 65g tank stand, just a box 4ft by 18 inches..... seems simple now that i seen your bowfront.

No there not Marco rocks! They are the same style but I get mine from Reef Cleaners . They are here in Fl so I always get my stuff the next day from them!

Tank started to clear up . I wasn't satisfied with the amount of sand so I added more, ( after rinsing the socks ) .Its Back to being cloudy! LOL

http://reefcleaners.org/index.php they are a few bucks cheaper than marco , but the main reason I shop there is hes in stuart! Quick delivery times !

Working on my rock formations . The 2 in the middle are gonna be a cave , I want a big flat piece of live rock to put on the top of them! Gonna have random pieces at both ends of the tank . Maybe a few hiding hole for the other fish . The Emaco r400 and acryl 60 works great so far . On the Cave pieces, I didn't like seeing the grey concrete color . So What Ive been doing ,is while its still wet add some acryl 60 to the exposed mortar and dust lightly with sand looks decent till algae covers it, lol !

Got my substrate in for the Refugium along with a 50/50 light . I think im gonna start with some Chaeto and see how that goes .
