Been away awhile...puff updates!

Post by Srkoe »

It's been several months since I've been around (life, you know). Well, where to start? Bad news is I lost two of my peas. They had ip's since I got them and refused to eat any food that was medicated, those two were stubborn as I've never had this problem before :(. Ares, my Fahaka is amazing! He's coming up on 12" and ornery as all get out. I skipped feedings two nights in a row a few weeks back, when I tried to dip some water out of his tank the 3rd night to defrost food in he tried to attack me and nearly jumped out of his tank to get my hand. As he came out of the water he made a horrible squealing noise...it was scary..he's fine though. F8's are doing well and so is my Toby. My Toby, Ashera has figured out how to spit at us and splash with her fins...she is a clown! Wally and Marty, my Walmart rescues are WONDERFUL! Beautiful, happy and healthy! P-nut is doing great as well and has warmed up to us well....she has quite the attitude on her and appears to curse us out when we look at her...lol! And finally, Bevo, my new Congo is about to be introduced to his new tank! There is already a thread about him in the freshwater forum.

Love it . Good news all are well. My fahaka figured out how to spit at a young age, its so annoying.
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly

X-ray-I'd say he is about 3-3 1/2". I bought him as a Palembang...they were wrong...lol!!! I love him anyways.

Bertie-Ares spits too! Ghost shrimp will jump and stick themselves to the glass tops on his tank and he'll "water gun" them down...lol!!! Ashera can spit really far...I'd say at least a good three feet!
