As far as bowfishing and hunting goes you can get started pretty cheap I think for a recurve bow its like 150+ for everything! But I use my compound hunting bow which was around 300$ on sale since it was "last years" model lol but you can usually shoot carp and gar i think! But check your local fish and game before your outing! Usually you just need a fishing license so have at it!

Dude I HATE heights too, but when your sitting on the edge of the plane at 13.5k feet you dont even realize the height. You dont get the ground rush that you do if your jumping off a roof or something like that. I wont even get near the edge of a 1 story roof cause it freaks me out. It was very calming coming down, the adrenaline rush is like none other.

I may have to find a local bow shop(or whatever) and start playing around. How hard is it to find the carp/gar. When Im out I rarely see any fish from shore, well nothing more then some brim

Well yeah I love flying and stunt planes and such, but sky diving is still a solid no! lol I used to do lights for a stage company climbing a 12ft ladder was a b*tch!

Yeah man or even a bass pro! I would go with PSE they are made here in Tucson AZ and all Made In America! Great quality and with a few after market parts you can make it super quiet and nice!

ok here we go. i work as a support technician for an IT company that sells thin client terminals(computers without hard drives running of servers). i do shipping, receiving, inventory, also help in support and QA. part time i work at a pizza shop doing everything but delivery. i make cheese steaks, hoagies, salads, sandwiches, pizzas and do cashier as needed. i play slow pitch softball for my full time job, and during the spring/summer i play softball for a second league on sundays starting at 8am and we play double headers every sunday. i played baseball, basketball, soccer, roller hockey, bowling growing up. and i love fishing and go every chance i get!

i really enjoy once softball is over on sundays, because i work 6 days a week(mon-sat), 55-65 hours a week between both jobs. i have no life lol. i work, come home(or to the other job depending on day of the week), eat, shower and relax. then do it all over again :) went to college for accounting, but i couldnt take school anymore. i did good in accounting and another math course, but all the other classes you have to take as a freshman i had no interest in and just did what i had to do to pass for the year and started working. no girlfriend, no kids, no time for either of them currently.

That's a busy week. I LOVE hockey! It's the only sport I would consider myself competent at. I played roller hockey as a kid, and moved on to ice hockey in high school and college.
It's a crayfish! It's a snail! It's a... ah who cares?

I play: Hockey, football (touch), basketball and softball (played hardball as a teen).

I also lift weights 5-6 times a week. I love it.

Hobbies.... FISH, of course. I have 9 tanks running at the moment. I also love to golf... I guess that's a sport ;-)

Work: Currently, I'm a Program Officer for the Government of Canada. I've also worked for the CRA (IRS here in Canada) and for Passport Canada, as a Passport Officer.

Oh... I'm 28, male, 6'2" - 205lbs....
Thats pretty sweet man! Always good to stay active! I know when I had knee surgery I couldn't walk or do anything for 14-16 weeks and I went from 245lbs up to 285lbs mannn was that sad!

So what exactly is a programs officer? Is that for like the computers or security?

And 6' 2" and 205lbs man you must be pretty skinny! lol I am 5' 10" and weigh in at 285lbs!

Skinny? You mean do I have abs and low bodyfat %? Yup lol. I can bench 245 about 8-10 times (I'm no powerlifter, but happy with where I'm at). I also try to stay lean to play the sports I do. Don't have to be thick like a rugby player to play CB/WR or defense in hockey!

Program Officer: I setup programs that the Government has for underpriviledged kids, people with dissabilities, etc. I overview how the money is spent basically. I have a number of files that I'm responsible for.

Thats pretty sweet man! When I played last year I was putting up like 345lbs on bench like 3 times I think! I may be a fatty but I hold my ground!
That seems like a pretty lax job for the most part! I can not imagine it would be to stressful!

Like Xray, i wrestled 4 years of varsity in HS and also played varsity football for 3 years
would have loved to keep wrestling but i broke my right ankle and both of my thumbs my senior year before state... boo

During the summers of high school i got a job where i played polo (on horses) for a few years, got to travel to Wyoming, Colorado, Arizona and California to play.. I miss those days :D

Also i have been hunting/fishing since i was 11 and i also bowfish sometimes like fahucker, for those of you who havent it is quite fun and challenging (+a great way to get rid of invasive fish)

Now that i am a full time college/slacker student going for an Electrical Engineering degree i no longer do any sports but am finally done with rehab for my ankle and have started to workout again... Time to loose the freshman 15 lol.

For work I have an internship with Rockwell Automation which is an Industrial/Manufacturing Company, My job consists of getting my work done as quick as possible then browsing TPF!!!

Almost the same thing happened at our high school championship basketball game. I twisted funny and tore my ACL and meniscus, only 10 weeks to start walking again though. Sounds like you had it rough.

I did an Honours BSc in Zoology. There were no option to minor in anything, it was very intensive. Now I'm doing my MSc in Animal Science with a small focus in welfare.
It is absurd to talk of one animal being higher than another. We consider those, when the cerebral structure/intellectual faculties most developed, as highest. A bee doubtless would when the instincts were.

Yeah it sucked! The surgery was supposed to be like 90 minutes it took them like 3 hours! My leg was too big and it took 3 people to hold me still and such while they drilled the holes for my screws and plates. It sucked though! The pain pills they gave me sucked! I think they were 7.5 percocets and I just had my Mom's friend bring me over some cannabis to smoke instead! Worked way better! No pain and no side effects like the pain pills had! :)

They had to hold you still? Wasn't the anesthesia working? As for pain pills, I remember when I got my wisdom teeth out and they told me to take ibuprofen. That was fun... Anyway, glad all is or mostly is better now.
