So i lift boxes for a living, i dont go to the gym cos i lift loads at work (upto 100kg) out of work its mainly familytime and aquarium maintenance lol. I like to occasionally go for a drink or many with pals etc etc. However working 2 jobs and with my current commitments i have little time to do any other activities.
Well all that matters is that you can get on TPF  You know lifting boxes is good for you! Keeps you fit to fight off anyone that messes with yah :D hahaha! But there is nothing wrong with going down to the local pub and having a nice brew right?! :) Man you must have some wicked life working 2 jobs! I can barely juggle school and working and a social life!

I wrestled for 4 years varsity in HS, would love to have kept doing it but I work evening shift doing xrays in a local ER so I miss out on any practices.

Sunday I went skydiving for the first time, god what a rush that was. That is something I will be doing again sometime.
I use to be scuba cert, but havent dont it in so long that I really need to take the course again.

Ive been thinking about buying a bow and playing around with one, never thought about trying to fish with on though. what type of license do you have to have for that?

You'd have to travel to 50 different states and 100+ cities to do that lol, but you could sample it. :)

My hobby would be horseback riding and I currently work as a research assistant but I'm about to go back to being a student. Goodbye paychecks.
It is absurd to talk of one animal being higher than another. We consider those, when the cerebral structure/intellectual faculties most developed, as highest. A bee doubtless would when the instincts were.

Just out of curiosity, for those who have been to or are currently going to college, what did you major/minor in? My degree was in Epidemiology with minors in Japanese, Zoology, and Aerospace Studies (Air Force ROTC). It was loads of fun, but I'd never want to go back to undergrad.

Not trying to hijack the thread with that, but figure it applies somewhat, and I'm interested in what kinds of backgrounds people on the forum have.

I wrestled my frosh year in HS and it wasn't my thing lol But skydiving is something I couldn't do since I hateeeee heights! But I did get to go scuba diving in a rock quarry that was filled in when I was in the boy scouts :P

As far as bowfishing and hunting goes you can get started pretty cheap I think for a recurve bow its like 150+ for everything! But I use my compound hunting bow which was around 300$ on sale since it was "last years" model lol but you can usually shoot carp and gar i think! But check your local fish and game before your outing! Usually you just need a fishing license so have at it!

I don't really follow international rugby either, I just play with some people from school. I've only played two positions so far on our team...blindside flanker and prop. What positions do you play?

That is pretty sweet! Never heard of blindside, but its probably just different terminology! lol
I played flank, hooker, and tight and loose prop! Love it! But cant play this year because of school and now a hernia!
