Hello from Mexico!

Post by RVS »

Hi! just to introduce myself to this big puffed family, i was wondering when to register and today i made the choice!
Im glad to be around more puffer lovers hahaha thats cuz, to my knowledge, the tetraodon are not very common in my country, at least in my area

Just my profile information says, I'm actually keeping 2 3" GSP in a fully planted 40G Tank, its around 1.005.... but don't worry I'm putting more salt hahaha ,well as long as plants allow it...
Also i have a project (a 270G tank) to make a bigger house for my GSP, well, actually is my new house hahaha 8)
You´ll read me on the BW area, but swimming all around the forum, there is a lot of awesome information i need to know!!! HEHE :)

anything that is overlooking, please let me know...
Ok?

He's very handsome! Your plants won't like the SG required for your beloved puffer:
library/puffers-in-focus/an-introductio ... d-puffers/
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

Hi! pufferpunk! yes!
I read the article and its the pure true!

Well, this puffers are still young so i think that they will be ok in the tank for a little time more ¿don't they? :?
im trying to get 1.007 SG plants are very well on 1.005 so i believe there will be no problem at 1.007... anyway .. i want to make a new tank with 1.015 or 1.018 ¿do you think this SG its ok for GSP?

As long as you're going to raise the SG that high, you might as well go all the way to SW. Then you can add live rock & a protein skimmer & do le$$ water changes on there.

Yes, thanks for that idea i´ll earn to buy a big skimmer ¿do you think wood affects the SW?

I have some big roots i would like to put on my new tank decoration, instead of a reef i´d like a mangrove border ñ_ñ
