I tried an earthworm and he didn't even look at it. I took it out and put it in some garlic juice and then returned it to the tank, but with the same effect. Hopefully he'll take them in the future. :) I'm so used to my other puffers, Congo excluded, eating tons and tons of food relative to their size. Not that I overfeed, but that they always WANT to eat. Buzz seems content with eating a crayfish tail and then resting lol. Fahakas certainly have personality.
It's a crayfish! It's a snail! It's a... ah who cares?
Nom nom nom!...

Tank: 4 liter custom-shaped sphere
Contents: 1 Brainfish
Ph: 7.4
Ammonia, nitrites, nitrates: ?
Problem: Cloudy/muddy water
Can you help me?

Don't make your Fahaka Fat! lol.

I have a question. How big is the tank your Fahaka is in? Mine is in a 150 gallon and gets a 50% WC a week, not everyday. Must be getting expensive on the water bill, no? Or is it a small tank?

Reaper my fahaka is the same way, he only moves to eat lol. Once in a while he will dart from end to end and then go right back to his spot and just lay there

well right now he is in a 20 long because im moving this weekend to a new appartment where im setting my 125gallon up for him so 50% on a 20 a day isnt bad but i live in an appartment an i dont pay for water so it doesnt matter... lol but i cant wait to set up my 125 in my new place this weekend! i wouldve set it up already but my appartments wont allow it in a second story... my new place will though :) and i did the research and the 2nd story floor will hold a 1500lb tank easy so im not to woried. i love this littel guy though dogs are the only pet ive ever had with the same amount of personality! i was told to be doing 50% water changes a day by a few people here until i could move him into the bigger tank and he seems happy as all get out!
