Got a figure 8!

So today I got a figure 8! just one, they are a bit expensive. I just fed him his first snail!! he was being stupid, so i justput it on a string and it took him a while to see it, but he ate it!!!!! its so exciting! okay, so how many snails do i feed? Just one? and do i give them bloodworms every now and then?

Mine enjoys a few snails, I generally feed him the snails every 3 days or so, and about 4 or so that are the size of his eyes or smaller. The other days i feed bloodworms, he seems to like bloodworms the most, but he looks awesome when he hunts down snails. He generally attacks them immeadiately after I put them in.

Also if you want another F8 I can send you mine, I've been thinking about getting rid of him to do something completely different with the tank he is in.

Welcome to the world of F8s! I have two and think they're fabulous fish. As xrayjeeper said, feed until you see a nice rounded belly (but not the point where they look ridiculously overstuffed). For my 1.5 inch F8s, that takes about 2 to 3 very small snails apiece.
