20g SW tank options

Post by xrayjeeper83 »

Alright so I got what I thought was a 30g for my gf, got it home did some looking and realized its only a 20. She was disappointed so she went out and got a 29g instead, looked better against the wall she wanted it on(about to start cycling that one FW). So I got her 20g so I can finally start a SW tank. Ive already got a good idea of what I need equipment wise.

So after that rambling now on to my question. If you had a 20g SW tank what would you put in it. Mind that Im not thinking corals of any sort right now cause I cant afford the lights. So wwtpfd.....What would The Puffer Forum Do lol

I has no idea, I've always wanted a Salt water tank, but I can't right now, waiting until I get a house so I can get a huge buttocks tank! Anyway I like firefish and blennys, but I think you can only really hold firefish in a 20G blennys need more space as far as my research has gone. I love Gobies too. You could probably do an orange spotted Goby and some firefish maybe. IDK I am no professional. Maybe a hermit crab or something... I really don't know, but I thought I would reply since you wanted someone to.

I would be all about the cool shrimp and a pair of clowns.
"I will give you a talisman. Whenever you are in doubt, or when the self becomes too much with you, apply the following test. Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him or her. Will she gain anything by it? Will it restore her to a control over her own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to freedom for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away."

pistol shrimp / goby combo or a peacock mantis shrimp ;)

Regarding the shrimp and goby, there are several symbiotic pairs. You don't HAVE to have a watchman and the the pistol (Alpheus) can be of different kinds also.
