RIP my beloved Congo

Post by dmond31 »

My fav. puffer passed on today. When i was doing a water change I knock his tank lid into the water and crashed him. I am super upset at my shelf so everyone please learn from me and completly remove the tank lid.

Oh no! I hate when I do something stupid & preventable to kill my fish. I have sucked up 3 puffers now into my intake, by not covering it after cleaning the filter.
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

Sorry for your loss.

Pufferpunk has the most vivid red congo I have seen in my life. They are available on aquabid fairly often. Thatpetplace also stocks them each year. I got my orange one from them (he just had a tragic accident as well) and was very happy him.

I know it's a bit far, but Amazonia in Austin carries them often and so does North Waco Fish. I only paid $25 for P-nut in Waco and $80 for Bevo in Austin. If you go to Amazonia on Sunday you get 20% off all fish.
