I am not getting a puffer after all :cry: :crying: I am very upset. but I am getting two knight gobies and four glassfish so I will be doing brackish. my brothers friend can't give me my snail tank back because he disappeared off the face of the earth

You can breed snails in a jar/bucket/rubbermaid container/anything

I said no puffer because my bros friend can't give me my tank back but apparently I can breed snails in a bucket. would a gallon ice cream bucket do?

Technically yes, more water would be better because they poop a lot. I had mine in a 4 gallon acrylic display box I found at goodwill.

I'll just do that chuck. I also just added the first inhabitants to the tank. three mosquito fish. they will get along with an f8 right?

There are some puffers that tolerate tankmates but from what I've been reading you should either keep them singly or with their own kind for the best results.
