Questions about F8's...

I will try the photobucket thing thanks!!! His poop is a reddish color I am thinking from the bloodworms maybe? It's not runny it almost looks like a little ball/ tadpole shape kinda. I will try to take pics. He now acts like he has been in my tank forever. He is cute and isn't shy at all. He doesn't come up to the glass to meet me yet like my GSPs but he doesn't run when I come up to the glass. He just goes on about his buisness. He is so cute but he's so tiny! I can't believe this guy had him for over two months and he hadn't grown! My GSPs grew so fast! In two months they had grown about half an inch.
I think I am going to go ahead and move my crabs to a completely enclosed set up just for them. I am not sure what size tank to get them though. The one connected to my 55 is just a ten but they go all over the bottom of the 55 as well and into their underwater island. I think the ten would be to small all by itself. I have a male and a female. If anyone on here is interested in getting an underwater island to go http://www.crabhomes.com/products/1/Buy ... lands.html and take a look! I have the island but they have smaller ones as well. They are really cool but they aren't sold in stores. I stumbled across this site on accident while researching info on fiddler crabs online.

I was thinking the same on the poop. He has been getting other foods as well. Brine shrimp, Algae pellets, snails and such.

The island stays down because it has a platform that is bigger than it and you put the gravel(or sand in my case) over it. Because I have sand as my substrate I also have some coral rocks holding it down. You should check out that website they are really cool! It has a feeder tube hooked up to it to put small crickets down there and an air pump to keep fresh air down there! They are a little expensive(not much compared to most aquatic stuff though) but they are cool!!

Thanks for the help everyone I hope I haven't sounded rude in any of my posts. I don't try to be I am just trying to get all the info I have out to help rule out things that I have already checked and/or treated for.

I just measured Gimpy (my dragon goby) and last time I did about 2-3 months ago he was about 8in he now measures about 11!!!! I am so happy. He is about 1" thick as well! He was so gimpy(hince the name) I didn't think he would live when I first got him last year.

I also have a floating log and some floating silk plants tied together with fishing line secured to one end of my tank for the crabs. However for anyone to do that remember to make sure your tank is sealed or they will get out. The tubes I use for the crabs to get into the ten gal on top of my tank are just the plastic connecter tubes that they sell for mouse and gerbil cages. They work well.
