I promise you that how you address Filbert will not seriously or negatively affect his/her/its personality or your relationship with the fish. The only thing that could affect that is neglecting to feed or partial, and if Filbert is anything like my Fahakas, the fish will let you know if it(?) is unhappy. IME, these are not subtle fish.
