I've actually seen my GSP move sand in his mouth to make a depression to rest in. I could hardly believe it when I saw it.

Lots of wood. I like manzanita because its branchy. Tom Barr (Plantbrain on ThePlantedTank) has some GREAT manzanita. I like live plants too, but I couldn't do it anymore with my puffer because #1 she bites me #2 she does not like lots of co2 #3 she doesn't like bright lights.
