my wierd mbu puffer

ok so i have a banded knife fish ,bgk and a mbu puffer in a 180g.
so i had my light on.i have a new T5 light 4 t4HO i only have 2 on during the day . so i was running 12pm to 8pm light time but it seems every time my light on my mbu likes to lay on the bottom and go to sleep. then light out he is ripping around like crazy. then i tried from 5am to 1 pm light time same thing lays on the bottom . but now ive been thinking my banded is very active at night ripping around like crazy. i wonder if this stresses out the mbu at night then when lights turn on banded hides then my mbu gets a break and goes to sleep. im running 2 T5 HO 10K during the day. i don't know what to say maybe my mbu is just being a PUFFER. i was thinking of giving my mbu all the 180 gallon and take out the knife fish for a week and see what happens . any ways what do you guys think . i would really like all info i can get

my mbu is 6 inches too

Worth a try. What are your plans for upgrading? You will need 1000g for that monster

With the huge bioload that mbu produces, I'd definitely keep it alone in the 180 & plan for a very large upgrade very soon.

whoa you may not be aware of this puffers requirements, we dont know the level of your knowledge, was trying to help. is tank heavily decorated? maybe you have a lazy mbu who would rather lay still and watch what you are doing . please dont jump on the defense we want to help we just want to suss out whats what lol

It makes me sad that all too often this is the mentality of mbu owners.
I don't even know what "if the dim our right i" is supposed to mean.

here is my tank a couple of weeks ago know the stump in the middle is out and the plant is planted in the right .
i think it kinda funny when someone cant handle a little debate . what are forums for. should be for all people opinions to me you guys are the little baby s that needs a cupcake
