Its cool we've all been there. Ill stop making my voodoo doll now LMAO.

Are you talking about the thin cheapy black tubes? Yes mine has those. Im with you on the build of those, just test fitting them I dont see how at 525gph they will stay together. Which is why im going to basically glue them together so they wont fall apart on me.

Whenever I buy cheap walrus, which is often because I'm unemployed and poor, I expect to have to mod it/rebuild it/something. Good luck with your tests!

Ok, had another blast at this bad boy, very difficult to prime grr.. Did have it running earlier but when i had to move it i unplugged it and it would not start again, doh. Gonna have another go now. I am using the original intake which i sealed with aquarium sealant.

I got mine up and running fairly easily.

A hint I read on another site to priming is to fill the canister up before you try and prime it. I just filled mine up in the sink then put the top on and connected everything. Worked great.

Mine seems to be doing great. Seems to be putting out just as much as my AC 110, has been enough to upset Bloat cause he cant lay where he use to cause it pushes him around a little LOL.

Over all Im very happy.

OH also I found that it seems to do better if you just remove the spray bar all together. The spray bar seems to diffuse it to much and it seems like nothing is coming out. If you use it with out the bar it will really move some water. All Im using is the U shaped piece and then the first 90* elbow so it will go across the tank.

Over all for the price im very happy. Holds alot of media and wasnt overly difficult to set up, a lot easier to get running then my old wet/dry
