Im not doubting you know what your doing, but Ive read more then once that they can be hard to prime. Why not send it back and get your money back??

And not to be a jerk but if thats the worst purchase of your life, your lucky as hell

i've always used Fluval canisters
quiet, really easy to service, parts available if and when needed
my Fluval 205 (2 years old) just developed a small leak at the bottom corner of the lower filter case
a nice inquiry and copy of my purchase reciept to Hagen Corp., and they sent me a new case at no charge
quality and customer service, i'm loyal to them

this is the first bad review of this product that I have heard of. Any chance of getting a replacement?

After my displeasure when I first saw the parts and the real poor build quality experienced I would not want another. All reviews were ok that I read . I am wondering if we get a different product over here?

ok first off sorry for outburst last night i have to realise this is not an eheim...... it only cost £50 less than a quarter what i would usually spend on a filter, so decided to give it one more go i am constructing a custom inlet pipe which is essential for this to work on anything but the most basic tank. so inlet complete tomorrow install take 2, not on the fahaka tank tho he is real pissed with me at mo lol.. sorry if i was more than blunt with anyone last night i am used to the luxury of eheims so felt hard done by, and thank you xray i am reinspired with this product but not 100% satisfied yet. will post tomorrow eve with how the install take 2 went
