Over the past nine months or so, I think I've become a really good knitter! Look what I've been working on lately:

I gave Julee these socks for her birthday. :D I adapted them from a pattern on Ravelry.

This is a perfectly-closed gusset - no gap!

I designed this pattern. It's a wallet-like purse, about 6" across. I wanted something just big enough to hold a room key and schedule of events at an upcoming Tolkien convention.

These socks are for a friend of mine. The yarn looked awful on the skein, but once it was knitted, I actually liked it.

Those look great. I started knitting a blanket in small chunks years ago but stopped because I forgot how to knit :lol: It kept my hands busy which is what I needed when I had access to a TV.
It is absurd to talk of one animal being higher than another. We consider those, when the cerebral structure/intellectual faculties most developed, as highest. A bee doubtless would when the instincts were.

It's summer, and I'm jobless right now - I do have too much time! But it's a good way to pass the time, doing something productive.

I'm working on finding one. I finally got a call back from ONE of them, and I can't take it now because of my car wreck. :(

Those socks are very nice.

I started knitting last year and have only really done winter stuff so far, a few scarves and some mittens. I did however knit a fish toy to sit in front of my bettas tank, it's pretty cute.
