I'm not sure of your source, but it says it right on the bottle. I'm looking right at it actually.Pufferpunk wrote:It is not an anti-parasitic at all though.
Ok, so I copied that from the website ... but that's what it says heheControls diseases caused by external fungi and parasites on fishes, including Ich, Costia, Chilodonella, Ambiphyra, Cryptocaryon, Epistylis, Oodinium and Trichodina. Contains zinc-free, chloride salt of malachite green. Use 1 teaspoon per 10 gallons of marine or freshwater. 4 oz treats 240 gallons.

But, it wouldn't have been used in this case anyways.
I need to do more research on which parasites are common to dwarf puffers specifically and safe ways to treat everything.
But, I'm pretty sure that tetra clear would would be safe.
Most medicated foods soaked in garlic should work also, right?
I've also been told that Jungle Lifeguard is safe.
But, can anyone confirm those meds are safe for puffers? I'd appreciate it
Just making sure I was right about treatment for DPs
Just to be safe ... DO NOT USE Malachite Green WITH PUFFERS
just in case anyone skipped the 1st page.
