Water & brushes. They were clogged with detritus & bubble algae.
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

That's good to get off hard minerals. This wasn't the problem with mine.

Scrubbed out my big skimmer & pump & then did a good scrubbing of my sump, which ensued a large (30%) WC on my reef.

Fed everybody! The shrimp, the regular snails, the assassin snails, the betta, the otos. Not everybody gets fed every day, but today was a free-for-all. Plus, I got rid of some extra frogbit and tidied up the planted tank - removed bits of algae and stray moss and crushed empty snail shells into shrimp-sized bits for munching.

I need long scissors for that tank SO BAD!
"I will give you a talisman. Whenever you are in doubt, or when the self becomes too much with you, apply the following test. Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him or her. Will she gain anything by it? Will it restore her to a control over her own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to freedom for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away."

I finally got my refractometer so I was able to bring up Albie's tank to 1.002 SG. did a 75% WC to do this and I also bought some more ghost shrimp and put them in my crab tank for future puffer snacks.

My refractometer finally arrived too -- I'll be starting to raise the SG in my F8 tank next weekend. This weekend, I found a second piece of holey rock at the LFS that the puffs seem to enjoy.
Yo ho, yo ho, a puffer's life for me.
