I just got back from my trip to Chicago today, so all of the work I normally do on the weekends didn't get done, but I'm too dang tired to do any of it now. It'll have to wait until tomorrow.

Messed around with the 5 gallon that's waiting for the snails to arrive (first set was dead -_-"), cleaned the betta tank and the goldfish pond.

Always nice to see this thread revived! 75% WC on my 90g, 125g, 20g & 10g FW tanks & then 60% on my SW 46g & 30% on the SW 40g.

Correct. I will be putting the 300 on the same wall....my wife didn't realize how big this tank was LOL. The puffer is going to be really happy. I still have to sand, seal and paint the stand and canopy though, I hope to have it done this weekend.

The stand and canopy are in great condition, I just don't wanna have a pine stand. I will be painting it black. I have already started tearing it apart...

Waterchanges and started changing the substrate in my fahakas tank, going from black to light sand colour as I think it will compliment him better, doing it in stages about 25 % at a time will post pics when done as in before and after lol
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly

I "fed" the 29g tank that I am in the process of cycling up to marine. Yay!... Fishless Cycling sure is slow when no one near where you live sells pure ammonia. Damn Surfactants and Dyes... :catfish:
29 Gallon Marine tank, with refugium, skimmer. Base rock, coral skeletons. Stock: Baby Ocellaurus Clown, young Saddled Toby, 3 Hermit crabs, one 2 inch Bristle Worm, hitch hiking starfish.

10g Biotope. 3 C. Travancoricus (Dwarf Puffer) Some Ghost shrimp, gravel/sand substrate, heavily planted with Swords and Java Moss.

10g LR Culture Tank. 10+ pounds fiji LR / base rock. Assorted hitch hiking inverts

Some FW tanks.

In My Experience, Fishkeeping is like Cooking. Five or ten basics will keep anyone from getting sick. But to be truly magnificent... You have to know the right Recipies.

If going marine, it is easily cycled with live rock.

Contemplating whether or not I want to wage a war on the terminator hair algae that is growing on my live rock, or if I want to get an algae eating blenny; an LFS has an absolutely GORGEOUS tribal blenny that I'm wanting. Either way it's time for a water change in a few days, so I guess I need to go get some water and prep it. Problem is, I got so full of hamburgers, bratwursts, beer and chocolate cake yesterday for my birthday that I still don't want to move, lol...

Jealous, really Jealous.
I got up an hour early today to prepare my final parasite remedy for my puffer Alf as he begged me for food at the front of the tank and after his food soaked for an hour and I put it in the tank, he took two bites and decided he didn't want it. So I cursed at him and threw a couple snails in and he graciously chomped those down so now I have to figure out what to do with him when I get home from my night class and do a 50% water change as well.
