crushing snails MTS too crunchy?

1) Are MTS safe if crushed, or are the shells too hard even if crushed?

2) Do the puffers still get dental benifits if shells crush , my puffers inch in size so I need to crush almost all snails?

3) I crushed old snail shells OH, do they stink? would puffers eat the stinky remains?

I'm not sure what you mean by "old shells"...
