i agree seven, but to my knowledge its only the female that has a full blown "lure" dangler so if i got a male hes be ok, ill do some more reseach online and see if anyone has sucesfully kept the pair

I have kept a large toby & angler species (wartskin) together. Just be sure there are never any fish smaller than the angler, they can eat fish as big as them. also keep in mind, yo may be purchasing live fish for the angler, it's entire life. And I don't mean goldfish, I mean fish like damsels!

My puffer, lion fish and yellow tang all get together fine. The puffer pays the lion no attention.
