Porky with lump...air???
So my g/f just got a porcupine puffer + the dumb**** lady @ the LFS scooped him up in a net, naturally he puffed up, but now he has a lump on his right side near the back towards his tail. I know about the massaging trick, but could it be trapped air? They puff up from their stomachs so im just stuck with this one. any1 had a trapped air bubble near the tail like that? I tried to massage him a couple times, maybe i just wasnt persistent enough...

Try holding him vertically by the tail, head underwater & shaking, to see if he burps it out his mouth. Might want to wear gloves, in case he puffs with water.
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

- My Puffers: Right now I only have a juvenile porky puffer. He's all of maybe three inches long, and just beautiful. His name is Punky.

That was my puffer, he's all better now
Thankfully passed his bubble in the first two days.
