Golden Puffers are rare and so expect to pay between £250 - £350 for one depening on size! The masked puffer aka Panda Puffer is alot cheaper @ £65 - £80 for one. Personally 500L is the space required for just one of these puffers, you could however keep both of these puffers together in a 750L - 1000L tank dependent on size of puffer specimens. Also with the right size tank both of these puffers will get on well together as they are dogface puffers, this coming from Personal Experience of keeping two dogface puffers in the same tank

Welcome to The Puffer Forum.
If by golden puffer you mean Arothron meleagris/Guineafowl Puffer your 500 lt (135 gallon) tank is to small. There is a colour varient of the dog face which is golden but as Walrus Head said they are rare, expensive and hard to come by. The cube tank doesn't have the best foot print for the larger puffers. Most of us at The Puffer Forum don't recommend mixing puffers especially those of the same species. As junvniles you might have some success but in long term not so much so. Puffers tend to show more aggression as they age.

Did you see the size of that puffer? It's HUGE! You can clearly see from the pic that a 180 would never be big enough for that puffer.

Wow he is a big boy, beautiful fish. You have to keep in mind that tank sizes listed in the puffer pedia are bare minium and there are always times when even these sizes list are not adequate as seen in the photo that stangd1909 posted.

Re: which puffer to get?
They get big lol....They have a Bass Pro Shop if Ft. Myers Fl, in the back they have a 12000 gallon saltwater fish tank. Some girl donated her Stars and Stripes puffer and her Golden Puffer because they got to big for her 800 gallon tank. They are insanely awesome LOL...the S&S is 24 inches and the golden is almost 26 inches they said. Just crazy...I will take a good pic next time I go and post it. The tank is really cool....

THIS TANK IS NOT 275 GALLONS BEING A CORNER TANK. Also the tank shape is not suitable for any dogface puffer, btw I have the black and white version of this puffer @ 4 " long
Re: which puffer to get?
Hard to tell by that picture but that isn't necessarily a corner tank ( it could just be put kiddy corner against the wall). Hard to tell so I don't know but judging by the Naso tang in there IF it is full grown that is a larger tank. I do maintance on a 275 gallon that is shaped just like that tank but is flat on the back ( not a corner tank) and place flat against the wall.
