What puffer should I get :)?

Yes, the plan is to move them out the very day I add the puffer.

Then keep up with the WC. Don't get the puffer until your parameters are stable for at least a week.

I've been changing about 40% for 4 days now, and the fish have only been fed once... nitrate is about 1-3, ammonia is still 0, but the nitrite is still the same =/ What concerns me a little is that the tap water actually also shows small amount of nitrite, about the same as in the tank (0,03-0,04ppm). There's of course a possibility that I misread the test, but I tested fresh rainwater as a "control", which seemed to show 0ppm. Not quite sure what to make of this...
In case water changes doesn't work over a bit longer time, does anybody have any good experience with additives that lovers the nitrite / boosts up the bacterial flora?

Allright, the parameters are stabil now, I will pick up my palembang puffer on friday (yes, I ended up with palembang will move him to a bigger tank if needed in the distant future:p). He is supposed to be 7-9cm. When it comes to feeding, the plan is to choose from a stock of raw scampi, prawns, bloodworms, krill, occasionally chunks of fish, and once in a while live fish and crab/crawfish. Any inventions or critique anyone?

Allright, update: After some phone calls, a good doze of water changes and research, the puffer is now in the tank He's quite a handsome fella.

Thank you He is thriving surprisingly well, eating normal too. Speaking of which, I tried feeding him a live small green crab recently. Stop me if he can't eat such things, but it sure appeared to me that he enjoyed it, here's the clip :p
