Today I went to my LFS to get some filterpads and then get my water tested (which by the way is almost PERFECT now) my ammonia is low. I went to go look at the Puffs... The porky looked great. wanted to get outta the 20g but what can he do?
I went to look at the marine F8's they looked great... And then i look at the other tank with f8s (originally) and now GSPS... Lets just say the 4 GSPs killed the 2 F8s.. I told my LFS friend, but he was busy and he said he would try and get them outta there... poor guys... But i have a question... Since the F8's are in SW... And my tank is at 1.005, would drip acclimating them hurt them?

Not killed... but their tails and fins and such were eaten, they had black tummies... and bleh, not a pretty sight... BTW the F8's are 15 bucks in the tank with GSPS but the ones in full marine are 25...

Almost perfect water is not "low" ammonia, that is not cycled, water. If you aren't even showing a nitrite reading, then you have a long way from being perfect.
It can take sometimes 3 to 4 months to cycle a tank. Because you have chosen to leave your sg at 1.005, it will be a long cycle.
IMO, a waste of salt and time.
This being said, I guess I'm wasting my time repeatedly explaining this to you, so this is will be my last time.
You keep posting things like this which makes it appear that you just don't seem to understand, and it's just too frustrating.
I'm sorry, maybe someone with more patience and better social skills can help you understand.
