How to train Congo puffer in taking dead food?

dead food such as frozen bloodworm, prawn bought from supermarket or even pellet.

so far my congo puffer reject taking frozen bloodworm and prawn, it even reject a dead feeder fish when i try to feed it using a tweezer, the puffer just swallow and spit it out instantly.

guess i must be more patient on training my puffer, its me vs congo puffer time

Start with live worms (mine loves earthworms) & then try mixing in dead (frozen, defrosted in garlic water).

tie your dead food on the end of a long cotton thread and drag thru the water as if its alive, your puffer will eat it!

ok i have successfully feed my puffer with some prawn meat, but it doesn't really eat alot, just like 1/2 of the prawn.

maybe it is small eater, 3 inch congo.
