I would love to put puffers in there, but the reality is one Fahaka in a show tank for 15 yrs, 30 -4" puffers I have to catch every 4to 6 months; I'm discouraged now. Someone needs to pull me off the edge. :?

Unfortunately there aren't many options. There might be some great alternatives out there but they aren't available in the trade.
It is absurd to talk of one animal being higher than another. We consider those, when the cerebral structure/intellectual faculties most developed, as highest. A bee doubtless would when the instincts were.

The 200 DP sounds very Intriguing, but they will not get sucked down the massive down spout returns will they?

Well, I had two options when setting up my 125g. One Fahaka or lots of DP's. I got Fahaka. If only I would have another 125g.

You could put a sponge of the intake, or some kind of netting. But as long as they are healthy they shouldnt get sucked down

DP's run about 5 bucks a piece, but I would think with multiple large orders, you'd get a great deal on them.
