I know that prices differ depending on region and demand but is 12.99 each a good price for a DP?

I got mine for around $4. But I would give $13 if they were young healthy adults. In other words if they weren't the size of a pea like mine were...And if they were nearly full grown but not fully mature. Also, $13 is a pretty high price and it would be the absolute max I would pay.

$3-$6 around here. I paid $24 for my Congo. Another store I frequent sells Congo's for $75...AND I ALMOST BOUGHT IT!!!! The "new" store I have found has been there since the 1960's. The owner told me they have been using the same distributers for 40+ years so she gets goods prices that she can pash to her customers.

Yah they were like $5 a the LFS last time I saw em. Which reminds me... My tank is cycled, got a red eye tetra in there to keep it cycled(don't worry he's not a full time resident, just a loaner from my dad's tank :) ), and I soon plan to get my DP's. :D
