There are lots on >1000 gal tanks privately owned and operated. They are not cheap, but generally are at least semi-automated.

There are many, many hobbyists who operated more than 1000 gallons of tanks. Operating that volume in a single tank is far less work than operating it in multiple smaller tanks.

There is a guy on MFK that has a 56ish thousand gallon and a 15k gallon, in his basement
