Re: GSP
You should get the aquarium one, even supposing the brewing one can be used for an aquarium, it does not read high enough SGs. 1.020- 1.026 SG is full salt water. Well I suggest 1.018-1.024 for a full grown GSP

Woops misread that it reads to high I should have said. It reads so high the the scale is hard to read accurately for this purpose.greenspottedlover wrote:You should get the aquarium one, even supposing the brewing one can be used for an aquarium, it does not read high enough SGs. 1.020- 1.026 SG is full salt water. What are your plans for cycling your new tank, when you get it?
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

Now, how do I get a container that is 3/4 the size of my tank... I have 2 buckets that are 5 gallons each, where can I find a HUGE one? Also, another stupidity question. Powerhead=filter....? Or like a hose

I mix water in a tank half the size of the display tank, then use buckets to move the mixed water to my display tank.My HD PVR wrote:Now, how do I get a container that is 3/4 the size of my tank... Re: GSP
also i use a large trash can to mix water and then use 5 gallon buckets to move to tank you could get a pump to pump the water from mixing can/bucket to tank if thats easier and you have the money

Where can you buy them? Also, I don't have a tank that I can use, only have one right now! I am still kind of lost, maybe the day I get the tank, and want to set it up maybe someone would like to voice/video chat with me, I learn much better that way...
