Post by R33GoNe »

Hi all,
I am just wondering if I was to go and catch crabs would it be safe to feed them to my fahaka?

You should freeze them first to kill off any parasites.

some one told me to put those stuff u catch in a tank for 1 week before freezing them, so the things u catch will poo out all the bad stuff before they get eaten.

sounds logical.
The woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except those that sang the best. Use the talents you possess.

If you wanted to feed them live to your puffer could you treat them for IP's like you would your fish, or is it different?

They have creams for that kind of stuff now, but I must say your willingness to share you crabs with your puffer is a very frugal decision during these difficult economic times.

Just kidding! Your queston gave me a chuckle!

I usually get blue snow crab, freeze it, then I tear or break off chunks for my puffs. My puffs are smaller so I hammer the chunks a little.
