Fahaka's substate problem :D

recently i saw some ppl in some other forums mention their puffer have strange attitute http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TtA2y5f9_RE

is this cause by no substate so that puffer think there's another fahaka so he's attacking it? that guy even say his fahaka's mouth is bleeding due to this issue...

OMG, that poor thing! Imagine the difference that puffer would feel in a tank that felt like home (sans the disco gravel):

ya.... i told that guy he needs some substate, and he said his fahaka will just get used to it....

ur tank is really nice! i wish i can have a tank like that :D what size is it? do u have any recommend of what kind of plants should i have in my fahaka's tank? im planning to have those plants that has a lot of holes in it, not sure what's the name of it though.... omg the earthworms i put in last night is still alive in the morning :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:

That's a 125g, I wish I had a 180 for him. :( I'm having good luck with Anubis plants in his tank.

btw i have some good news!! the crayfish i put in 4 days ago~(i took off its clams,,, cuz its cutting all my plants...)
dissapears!!! I think my fahaka ate it! cuz i've been searching for it for hours~ i even picked up my drift wood and check~
hope he start eating the eathtworms~

you look around the outside of the tank? lol. or how about in your HOB filter, if you have HOB on there. dont count him out just yet!

not really... maybe he ate it at night or days ago, but i've been searching long time for the crayfish, not under the driftwoods and not hiding in any plants~ i use canister filter and i have a lid so i dun think the crayfish can jumb out and anything. :D

Kaya her 800 liter tank. Some plants dont stop growing, some plants dont die but refuse to grow and other plants died.
