Wally and Marty, huh... I can dig it! :)

I'm glad that you picked these two little guys up, Srkoe. I'm certain that you'll take good care of them. It's unfortunate about the rest that were so unceremoneously disposed of by the evil corporate empire who's name I don't even want to read right now.

I never really did talk about him all that much, but I did have a GSP that my sister gave me after she kept him in freshwater for a few years. I acclimated him to very strong brackish (1.018) on the advice of one of my college professors who is also a marine biologist, and kept him there. He lived another 8 years or so in my care. My guess is he was about 12 years old when he passed - could have lived longer but I'd say not bad considering everything that happened to him.
I know what you mean about Wally nipping at your hand; my toby Camille does the same thing to me (she doesn't like my hand in her tank, you understand.) Keep us posted on how they're doing!

I Love that tank setup. Its gorgeous! I wish mine looked as well, only its brackish... I have a lot of algae growing that Im trying to get a handle on. How can you not want to save those little guys, theyre so cute... and Im glad you saved them, haha cute names. In a way though theyll always remind you of what you saved them from...

Thanks guys! I can't wait to get Wally in there! It is my favorite tank right now, it's ashame it's in my room...that's okay though, it's next to my bed I stare at it every night before I go to sleep and admire it...I'm a nerd. All my other tanks have black backgrounds, this is my first with blue, I really like it. I love the plants on the back. I have them in my dp tank as well. All the dp's sleep in them at night. I want some for Ares' tank as well but the algae is winning the battle in his tank and I don't want to have anything else to scrub in there. I too am having a heck of a time with hair algae in my f8 tank...that stuff is a pain to remove and the shrimp won't touch it!

I am currently on the search for another larger tank for Marty. I want to get him out of the 20 gallon asap!

My husband has a honeycomb Toby...I believe the Fiji and the honeycomb are one in the same. Her name is Ashera, she is so beautiful. It amazes me how well she blends with rocks! Do you keep any corals with yours? We broke down tonight and bought a zoanthid frag and an anemone. She doesn't touch the zoa's but the anemone had to come right back out...she immediately attacked it! I have it in a container right now, hope it will survive over night so I can exchange it in the morning :(
