male betta: name needed

Post by Flutter »

long story short i ended up with a new male betta yesterday. he's a lovely white plakat fellow. i've had some health issues recently and i'd like a name with some sort of meaning behind it. something uplifting like hope or something

any ideas?
It is absurd to talk of one animal being higher than another. We consider those, when the cerebral structure/intellectual faculties most developed, as highest. A bee doubtless would when the instincts were.

our other betta happily lives with some shrimp friends. figured i'd give this a try with the new guy. i'm sorry i put 6 in. he's like a puffer but without the insta-shrimp-killing skills. i wish i could save them :( bummer.

xanadu got me thinking about poetry which got me thinking about my favourite childhood poem, the tyger. i'm starting to consider tyger as a name, this guy is active, bold, he's pacing like a caged tiger (lets hope that stops once he settles in), and boy is he a predator through and through. too bad he's as white as white can be.

i've never liked plakats but he's something else and he is so different from our CT.
