Hello all. I have now owned Hootie (1-1/2") for exactly 1 week and am a little confused on what and how much to feed him. I am currently feeding Hootie 1/2 of a blister pack of frozen blood worms/day and maybe a small snail a day or every other day. I have read Pufferpunk's article in the library and have a couple of questions:
#1) What are gut loaded ghost shrimp? My lps sells live ghost shrimp, can I feed him these? If so, how?
#2) Is 1/2 of a blister pack of the frozen blood worms enough per day? he still seems hungry after I feed him and his belly is not as round as some of the pics I have seen in the chat rooms.

gut loaded shrimp are fed up on veggies and algae before being fed to the puffer, so the puffer gets all the nutrition possible.
feed him enough for his belly to go rounded but not to make him look like a golf ball with fins and eyes. over feeding is dangerous and can cause constipation. i feed mine maybe 10 small bloodworms a day. overfeeding is easy because young puffers will always seem hungry and will beg at the glass for food, not knowing when to stop
