Re: Anemone question
Would need to know more about your tank. How long has it been established? What SG? Lighting?

Re: Anemone question
You're going to need at minimum, several T5 lights, all with individual reflectors. SG needs to be at 1.026. Do you have a skimmer?

Re: Anemone question
Yeah I have a Octopus skimmer with a 250 gallon rating. I will be up grading to a 400 gallon skimmer in a few months.

Re: Anemone question
That 1st one looks pretty $$$. The 2nd one, I can't tell if they have individual reflectors, can you?
Here is where I buy my lighting supplies: http://www.reefgeek.com. They are great for advising on the phone, too.

Re: Anemone question
You're going to need 2 of those for an 8' tank. I highly suggest building a canopy & installing the bulb fixtures yourself, it's way cheaper. Did you read bulbs sold separately? You're talking about a ton of $$$ here! Reefgeeks is great for recommendations on what fixtures & color bulbs to get.

I know, the money's not a huge deal. I just wanna get the lighting right the first go a round. I have a canopy on the tank, a nice one. Maybe I can just install the reflectors right on the canopy, that might be the best way.
