Can anyone suggest a good sw skimmer for me to buy

Hey Guys

Can anyone advise me on what skimmer to buy?

I will have a 55g sw tank soon and was thinking of getting one for it

I'm going to start the tank off with ''DcTims One and Only'' and I'm using an external filter that contains wool/floss, Bio ceramics and 1kg of crushed up Live rock in it.

The cheaper the better really although if there's one that's a little bit more expensive but worth it I'll buy it

I've got the US version of the top one, AquaEuro USA 2, and it's not going to be enough for a 55 gallon. Here it is actual size.



It skims very wet and is difficult to adjust.

The second one looks like an Aquatic Life Internal Mini Skimmer 115 and I've read mixed reviews on it.

Both skimmers posted are for nano tanks and would not be good for your 55.

I have two Eshopps PSK75-H, one on a 37 gallon and the other on a 28 gallon NanoCube. It is rated for up to 75 gallon but that's probably an exaggeration. I've had a little trouble with it putting micro bubbles into the tank but I think I have that finally figured out. Eshopps does make a PSK100-H that would probably better suited for your tank.

I just noticed you're in the UK so this my not do you any good.

Better to get a Backpac or Coralife skimmer.
