Farm life!

Things have been crazy, but I'm settling in. Here's some pictures from the last couple of months:

"I will give you a talisman. Whenever you are in doubt, or when the self becomes too much with you, apply the following test. Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him or her. Will she gain anything by it? Will it restore her to a control over her own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to freedom for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away."

OMG DUCKS!!! They are so cute. I raised a hatchling mallard that I found as a little girl, it imprinted on me. Must've hatched late, it was all alone with a little beak tooth still sitting in the nest. I miss her, she had babies though! Lots of ducks winter on the pond by that house, and she brought them back the next year. Don't think she ever migrated.

Love that bumper sticker...
ask: is this suffering necessary or unnecessary?

I already have a farm life! My dad has some egg layers and I'm the primary care taker. :)
