New tank photos

Post by GSPdragon »

Here is our new tank, 60 gallon acrylic. Dragon & Wasabi GSP's. I plan to add more taller plants to the back and maybe some sort of cave or more rocks... any other ideas?

Grab a couple of those large fake mangrove roots from Petsmart. They work great & are natural for their habitat.

Nice looking tank. The largest 2 fake mangrove roots have no dead spots inside for water to sit and go foul. If you don't have a local Petsmart, they have free shipping at http://www.petsmart.com on orders over $50 until 4/2/06.

The fake mangrove roots are called "Top Fin Grey Tree Root Ornaments"

The XL 603689 is 15" high $16.49 online (more$ in store)
the L 603702 is 12.5" high $11.99 online

You could easily put one of each in that tank as I have 1 of each in a 30 gal.

If you need spare submersible heaters, their Acura 1000 line is on clearance online at 1/2 price - from $9/50W to $12/300W.

Thanks for the tips, I'll check out the mangrove roots :) All set with heaters, after some confusion with the Jager I ordered from Big Al's I ordered another submersible... so now I have two already.
