Is there a kind of dogface that has this colouration or design? I see some on youtube but don't no if they are s+s or dogface the owners say dogfaces?

Face palm.
A lot of arothons are referred to as dogface because they have similar body shape and buck teeth.
Look at the puffers on this page -ug.php/v/PufferPedia/Marine/
All of them are arothons, but only one is referred to as a dogface - the arothon nigropunctatus
The puffer you just showed is sort of like a cousin to the nigropunctatus, it is called a Arothron hispidus
The arothon hispidus gets bigger than the nigropunctatus, it gets to about 19 + inches.
A lot of arothons are referred to as dogface because they have similar body shape and buck teeth.

Folks do get confused on the common family and genus names - think of the confusion between Diodon and Tetraodon (really Diodontidae and Tetraodontidae)
Arothron is not really a family name, just a genus within the family Tetraodontidae, but it is a genus with a lot of commonly seen fish in it and includes the largest puffer, A. stellatus. A lot of stores and hobbyists do refer to the whole group (genus) as dogfaces - it is the terminology I grew up with, not just A. nigropunctatus (the real dodface these days). Personally, I have always though of A. diadematus as a perfect dogface and would love to have one, but I have never done so.
My main issue with the Pufferpedia listings is that apparently we did not emphasize enough that the minimum tank sizes stated were the absolute minimums, applicable from day one in your care, and those apply to the specimen described alone, with no other fish or inverts present. Plus we needed to make clear that the minimum size was just that, the absolute minimum for keeping the fish alone and far less than the optimum tank size. For some reason, folks just do not get the concept that minimum means just exactly that - the least possible, period.
I do not and cannot subscribe to the concept that it is okay to move fish up in tank size periodically. Everything I have ever learned about fish negates that idea, most often for the same reason PP opposes it - life gets in the way. The best laid plans of mice and men gang aft aglay (sp?). Plus I can see no point in setting something as wastefull as a temporary tank and replacing it months to a year or so later with a another, and then another still, I set tanks once, planing on their operating for at least 10 years without major refitting or modification. By 8-12 years, significant re-do may be needed, but that is less costly or time consuming that setting a new tank. Why on earth would anyone "plan" on needing a whole series of tanks at much greater cost and work effort? Do it right and do it once if at all possible. It is easier and cheaper and by far the best for the captive(s) living there as well as for the keeper.
