Can someone please sell me some cheap salt?
I am looking for some salt for a brackish aquarium and I dont have many pet stores near by that sell salt in small amounts. So can someone please sell me some salt preferably 5-10 pounds. Something like instant ocean or another brand. I thank you in advance. I am sorry I am asking for it so cheap but as some of you might know it very hard times and I just had to give up cable and phone but I would really appreciate if someone would please send me some 5-10 LBS of salt. Please let me know how much you would charge me.
Thank You,
Trever

I'm not sure but I believe it would cost just as much to send 10 lbs of salt as it would to buy it.
I'm sure if you ask one of the LFS in your area they can bring some in for you and you wouldn't have to worry about shipping costs.

What kind of fish are you keeping? I'm sorry you've come onto hard times. Are you not working?

You probably would be better going to a Petco or Petsmart and buying their own store brand, generally cheaper and just as good. Shipping salt, even 10lbs is expensive. Also try some of the local reef clubs and see if someone there can help you out by even selling it at a reduced price for you.

I know Petsmart has small bags for $5 and it would get you about 3-4 water changes. Buying larger bags is more economical when you can afford the larger purchase and sometimes 15lb bags go on sale buy 1 get 1 free. I've seen Petsmart and Jack's do this.

I see Petsmarts and Petcos all over the Cleveland area. And Petco has a 3lb bag on sale for $6. This bag would make about 50 gallons of low end brackish water.trever22 wrote:Im from the Cleveland area

I don't know. Petsmart's online sale prices are the same in store. I don't have any Petcos where I live so I don't know about them. Check with a store and see.trever22 wrote:Is this in stores too or only online?
