What kind of puffer is this?
Re: What kind of puffer is this?
While they are young you want to feed 6 days per week until the belly is lightly rounded. Have you seen if there is suitable food at your grocery store? Krill and shrimp are not good diet staples. I'm not sure about silversides but your fish isn't a piscivore.
It is absurd to talk of one animal being higher than another. We consider those, when the cerebral structure/intellectual faculties most developed, as highest. A bee doubtless would when the instincts were.

Krill is like puffercrack. Not only is it not the best food for him but it's hard to get them off it. How big is he? If he's little (2-3"), feed him to a slightly rounded belly 6 days & skip one for fasting. As he gets bigger, you'll be going every other day to 2x/week.
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

He is 5"-5 1/2" big. I am taking that list of food to the store with me, and I will see what the have. I wanna feed him better, so I will get the better food.
