how old do Niles get?
ok so im sure someone has asked this before , maybe even me lol, but does anyone know how old Niles get and how big?, just figured out mine is 9 years old now and pretty huge , he doesnt seem to stop growing, he is probably about 16-17" now and ive had him since he was 1", also anyone know anything about brown on their teeth?

Mine's gotta be at least 10 now, my guess would be in their upper teens.

I'd bet on mid to upper teens for all the mid-sized to giant hunter-predator puffers, possibly more. I don't have as much experience with the lurkers, so not sure there.
Very old fahakas should likely exceed 18" Fish never stop growing, they do so very slowly at "full" size.

I wouldn't doubt they can hit 20 years old. Also, RTR is right again, they don't stop growing. In the right size tank and care, 20 years and 20" is a possibility IMO.
