GSP vitamin soaked food

I have read in many posts that Puffer food should be soaked in vitamins. I saw the name VitaChem used specifically in a few posts and replies. I have been looking locally and on the internet and can not seem to find where to buy these vitamins.

Where do you buy it? Or what do you use if not specifically VitaChem?

Also, if you soak the food in it I assume it is liquid. I assume you don't contaminate the entire container by just dropping your food in the main container. I assume you may put some in a small dish and soak your food in it that way. (I know I should never assume anything so that is why I am asking for clarification first.)

What do you do with the liquid you soaked the food in? Can you save it to use again? Does the food suck it up like a sponge and there is no left over? Would it benefit the puffer if you poured the left over vitamins into the tank water? Or would that just pollute the water quicker?

Could this be beneficial to put in the snail tank to "pre-load" the snails with vitamins?

I am sorry for the question, just trying to do right by my puffer. I appreciate the comments and responses.

I put the food in a tiny bit of tank water and then put 5 or 6 drops of vitamins in the water with the food. Let is soak for a few hours and then discard the water after feeding.

Zoe makes a good liquid vit too. I soak overnight.

Where do you get Zoe?

Would it hurt the vitamins if it were to freeze? Still cold up here and everything freezes if it is shipped and delivered.

I've always just soaked my old GSP's food in vitamin water from the supermarket. Specifically, a vitamin water that was supposed to be for babies, don't remember exactly what it was.

Humans & fish have different nutritional requirements.

Plus, that waster is designed to be drank and it therefore isn't a concentrate. Without a high enough concentration the food will not take on enough of the necessary nutrients. It would be more expensive than a concentrate. It's a neat idea but I don't think it would do much.

The vitamin pre-soak is pretty much insurance. it is highly unlikely to do any harm and we really have no clue as to what or wet pets really need/require in vitamins. I have used both Zoe and VitaChem brands, either will do SFAIK.

I notice the vitamins come in salt water or fresh water formulas.... which would be used for backish? It is fairly low backish so maybe the freshwater formula?

Since they wind up in SW, I'd use those.
