Does your Fahaka do this to you?
This is a video I took of my puffer... his way of telling me he's hungry.

Re: Does your Fahaka do this to you?
Is that what that means? Because my GSP does that just about every day, but with a bit more vigor.
But then again my GSP is always hungry, he tried to eat the thermometer when I first installed it.

It looks like the puffer is trying to talk sometimes, too.

Yup! F-8s, Fahakas, GSPs, and T.mbu all do the same.
That is also a likely cause of so many hunter-predators being obese in tanks. They have conditioned their owners too well.

I never saw this before with my Fahaka. Can it be that her teeth are less long?
I know she has teeth because i hear her crunch on her food, but never managed to see them.

Re: Does your Fahaka do this to you?
Good grief does my fahaka have teeth that he loves showing off but likes to chew on the pieces of crushed coral substrate and a smooth piece of lace rock in his tank. It's a good thing though. I believe it helps with the teeth along with the hard shelled food. I used to see my stars and stripes puffer chew on the rocks in his tank many many years ago too.
