Hey guys..
So I've fallen in love with the idea of a reef aquarium, just on a small scale.
Found a great deal on a nano cube, however I wanted to know if there were any puffers that would work with a 12gallon nano cube by jbj with a small reef?
All advice is appreciated!

Nope, none.
"I will give you a talisman. Whenever you are in doubt, or when the self becomes too much with you, apply the following test. Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him or her. Will she gain anything by it? Will it restore her to a control over her own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to freedom for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away."

Actually I might be able to still get a 24 gallon Aquapod..
Are there any puffers I could keep along with a reef in there?

If you look in the PufferPedia, you'll see all of them, with gallon requirements. I think the Canthigasters are the only reef-safe puffers. Some of them might be minimum 25g.

There are no reef safe puffers. Pick one or the other. I tried a valentini for a while & he started nipping at everything. Unless you want to keep less attractive (& appealing to the taste) leathers, xenisa or mushrooms.

Alrighty, thanks for the info.
Is there a good reef info site for beginners? In terms of how to set it up correctly, tips of physically setting up ?

PufferPunk sent me over to About.com's Salt Aquarium pages, and they really helped me understand what I needed for my first saltwater tank:SxS316x wrote:Is there a good reef info site for beginners? In terms of how to set it up correctly, tips of physically setting up ?
