question foTetraodon palembangensis owners

Hey guys I just got back from this little fish store in NY that I go to when ever im out that way. They tend to have very unusual fish from time to time and today they had a Tetraodon palembangensis for sale! This is the first time I have ever seen one and it was labeled "pignose puffer". Now I own one of those and this did look somewhat like that but with very bright colors and was in with a fangs puffer. I pleaded with the owner to remove one of them In case it was a pignose but he said they have been in the same tank for over a year and get along fine. I know that my pignose cant be housed with any other fish because it is very agressive but after returning home and looking on here to get a better idea of what it really was, I was wondering who if anyone was able to keep a palembang and a pignose together. I would love to find a tank mate for my pignose( so lazy for having its own tank) plus this is one of the most beautiful puffers I have ever seen.. any responses would be great, thanks

I believe it has been done but:

I know that my pignose cant be housed with any other fish because it is very agressive

My palembang's puffer was strictly solitary.

Can two palembangs be housed in one tank?

I believe it's been done but I'd go for a 90g tank that was very heavily decorated with large/tall plants & multiple caves for them to choose from for territories.

I'm even more conservative - I'd go larger still if at all possible. I wanted to try a 6' tank with a plant thicket dividing the tank in half.
